Arohan Financial Services Limited, a leading NBFC-MFI, today announced the re-joining of Mr. Arvind Murarka as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his role, Mr. Murarka will head the organization’s IT function and lead its technology strategy, with a strong focus on digital transformation, operational excellence, and scalable growth.
Mr. Murarka brings over 25 years of extensive leadership experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation, technology modernization, and enabling business growth across financial services and other industries. A seasoned CXO-level technology leader, he is widely recognized for effectively aligning IT strategy with business objectives while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and resilient operational frameworks.
During his earlier tenure at Arohan Financial Services Limited, Mr. Murarka played a key role in driving end-to-end digital transformation initiatives. His contributions included establishing IT governance frameworks aligned with RBI guidelines, implementing core technology platforms, strengthening cybersecurity and risk management systems, and leading automation initiatives that resulted in significant efficiency gains and cost optimization.
Prior to re-joining Arohan, Mr. Murarka served as the Chief Information Officer at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, where he led organization-wide IT transformation initiatives for the listed microfinance NBFC, further strengthening his expertise in large-scale technology leadership within the financial services sector.
