New Delhi, May 13: Solar businesses in India have grown considerably in recent years as the use of renewable energy solutions continues to increase across different sectors. Demand today is coming not only from large projects, but also from commercial users, institutions and households looking at solar as a long-term alternative.

With the industry becoming more competitive, companies are also having to prepare themselves differently. Production planning, operational coordination and financial management are now becoming equally important alongside expansion. Shweta Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd. is among the companies currently focusing on these areas under the leadership of Directors Rohit Garg, Abhishek Garg and Yukta Garg.

The three directors have been handling different aspects of the business while working towards a common goal of strengthening the company’s manufacturing and operational capabilities in the solar segment.

Like many companies operating in the renewable energy space, Shweta Solar is also navigating a phase where growth opportunities are increasing, but so are the responsibilities linked with execution, financial planning and technological adaptability. The company’s leadership believes that long-term sustainability in the sector will depend not only on expansion, but also on maintaining operational balance while responding to changing market requirements.

Over the years, the company has gradually expanded its production activities and aligned itself with the growing shift towards clean energy solutions in the country. Industry demand has particularly increased in areas linked with rooftop solar installations, institutional projects and commercial applications, encouraging manufacturers to strengthen domestic capabilities.

Within the leadership team, Yukta Garg has been involved in finance and accounts related operations, particularly in areas associated with funding strategy, financial planning and expansion evaluation. One of the major assignments associated with her role involved coordinating financial planning for a manufacturing expansion project valued at nearly ₹52 crore.

However, those associated with the company say her role goes beyond conventional finance responsibilities. She works closely with internal teams while evaluating how business expansion plans align with operational and financial requirements over a longer period.

Speaking about the importance of balanced planning in the renewable energy business, Yukta Garg said,

“In manufacturing industries, especially in sectors like renewable energy, growth decisions cannot be taken in isolation. Financial planning, production capacity and market demand all need to move together. Sometimes companies focus only on expansion numbers, but long-term stability depends equally on how sustainably that expansion is managed.”

Yukta Garg completed her MSc in Financial Analysis and Fund Management from the University of Exeter. She is currently pursuing the Strategic Professional level of ACCA alongside Chartered Accountancy finals in India. Before joining Shweta Solar’s leadership operations, she also worked on financial planning and funding related assignments at Shweta Wholesale Private Limited, including negotiations linked with institutional funding arrangements.

At the same time, Rohit Garg has been focusing on strengthening business development and operational coordination as the company expands its activities in the solar manufacturing segment. People associated with the organisation say a significant part of his focus remains on identifying growth opportunities while improving execution across different operational areas.

According to Rohit Garg, the renewable energy market is now moving into a more competitive phase compared to what the industry witnessed a few years ago. “Demand is increasing, but at the same time customer expectations are also changing very quickly. Companies today have to focus not only on manufacturing capacity, but also on consistency, timely execution and maintaining confidence in the market. The sector is growing rapidly and businesses need to adapt continuously,” he said.

Abhishek Garg, meanwhile, has been involved in areas linked with operational growth and market expansion. As competition within the solar segment intensifies, he believes companies will increasingly need to focus on strengthening internal systems while preparing themselves for long-term industry shifts.

“The renewable energy sector is no longer at an early stage. It is becoming more structured with every passing year. Businesses now have to think beyond immediate opportunities and prepare themselves for long-term scalability. That requires operational discipline and continuous improvement across different functions,” Abhishek Garg said.

Those associated with the renewable energy business say the next phase of growth may depend less on aggressive scaling alone and more on how effectively companies manage execution, financial discipline and technology integration simultaneously.

Within this environment, Shweta Solar is looking at expanding its capabilities gradually while maintaining focus on operational stability. The leadership team believes that growth in renewable energy manufacturing needs to be approached with long-term planning rather than short-term expansion targets.

For Shweta Solar, the current phase appears to be less about rapid announcements and more about preparing steadily for larger opportunities that may emerge as India’s renewable energy ecosystem continues to expand.

As investments continue flowing into solar manufacturing and clean energy infrastructure, the companies across the sector are expected to focus increasingly on balancing expansion with operational readiness. Under the leadership of Rohit Garg, Abhishek Garg and Yukta Garg, Shweta Solar is also positioning itself around that broader transition taking place within the industry.
