Indian Bank Receives Rajbhasha Kirti Award at Hindi Diwas Celebration in Gandhinaga

 Gujarat, September 17, 2025: Indian Bank, one of the leading public sector banks of the country, has been honoured with the Third Prize of the Rajbhasha Kirti Award for the year 2024–25 at the Hindi Diwas Celebration, organised during the 5th All India Rajbhasha Conference 2025 held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Indian Bank has received this award for the second consecutive year in recognition of its “outstanding performance in the field of Rajbhasha implementation”.

The award was presented on the first day of the two-day 5th All India Rajbhasha Conference at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, by Union Minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma. On behalf of Indian Bank, Shri Manoj Kumar Das, General Manager, Official Language Department, Corporate Office, received the award.

This honour demonstrates the Bank’s strong commitment to the successful implementation of the Official Language Policy and the promotion of Hindi in banking operations. Indian Bank remains dedicated to providing banking services across the country with the spirit of “Customer Service in the Customer’s Language.
